How to Find Someone’s Birthday by Phone Number

There are several reasons why you would want to find someone’s birthday but we are hoping you are looking to surprise a friend, significant other or colleague. This guide will give you tips on how to find someone’s birthday by phone number.

What that means is that the advise provided here assumes you know the person’s phone number, hopefully it’s a cell phone number. We are going to show you how to go about using the number to do what is known as a reverse search to find their birthday online.

It is worth mentioning early on that the chances of finding the person’s details online is not 100% guaranteed. This is because not everyone uses the internet and not all of those using the internet share their information online.

So you are left with a smaller chance. There is that chance someone e.g. workplace uploaded someone’s CV on the internet and while they themselves are not using the internet or do not upload person details, their information is still accessible via the company website, which is indexed by search engines like Google. So in that case you can try to run a google search using various details in the search box like their name, the phone number and maybe the word “birthday” or birth date” or something close to that.

You can of course try this similar approach on other search engines like Bing, Yahoo, Duck Duck Go etc. Alternatively you can use this similar method on top social media sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, twitter or Instagram.

1. Call the Phone Number

I know you will probably feel this is a silly guide but trust me, we have done the research and most of the sites that promise to offer you a birthday lookup are completely useless at it.  Believe me when I say this is the best way to use that number.

Of course it is about pranking the person but as I mentioned earlier I am hoping you are going to use the information for good and this person is your friend and will declare everything once you surprise them with that birthday party or at least a cake.

So here are some ideas to prank the person: (I know that sounds wrong but it is for the greater good).

1.  Call up the person and pretend to be a lotto company or something like that. Tell them they have won something and if they buy it then go ahead and ask them their personal details.
2. Call them up and tell them you are from their previous school and are trying to verify records. This is important in making sure that when companies call for their educational reference in future, their details would be accurate.
3. If they don’t buy all of that, wait for a few days and have a friend or someone else call with a different act.

Remember not to use your actual phone number because since this person is your friend, you will show up of their phone book or call identifier app.

2. Add Number to Google Contacts and Sync with Calendar

The idea here is that you must make sure that you save the person’s number on your Google contacts. If you don’t have Google contacts, then you need to download it from the PlayStore. The trick we are sharing here also requires that you have their Gmail ID or address. This is typically easy to get from the person; simply ask for it and tell them you want to share some document or whatever you usually converse or do together.

Then on your smartphone, go to Google contacts and update the person’s details with the Gmail ID. Then you should  find sync settings on your cell phone and sync the Google calendar with the native calendar app. This is the calendar that comes with your phone. Once you do this, dates including birthdays will synchronize. You can then check the calendar to see if the person’s birthday appears from there.

3. Search by Phone Number from People Finder Sites

People finder sites are deducted to gathering information on people and offering it online. They keep such data full names, phone numbers, addresses (email and residential) birth records, social security numbers and more.

People finder sites have search boxes where you can lookup with that phone number in your possession, that is they allow you to do what is known as a reverse phone lookup. This essentially means using the number to find other details about the person, in our case – a birth date. They allow basic searches with a name, phone number and residential address.

Examples of people finder sites are Spokeo, Pipl, Intelius and Free People Finder. Note that most of these finder sites offer a free search but you might have to pay a fee to access the details.
